Picture Based Insurance

BlueGreen Labs is a long term partner in the International Food Policy Research (IFPRI) led Picture Based Insurance project. Within this context BlueGreen Labs drafted the original data acquisition protocol and has provided continued data and software and management consulting services for further spin-off projects, e.g. expansion through the LACUNA fund led by ACRE Africa. The latter resulted in a geo-spatial (STAC) data set for Machine Learning and remote sensing applications hosted on Radiant Earth.
