LUCAS segmentation dataset published

We are happy to announce the output of a collaboration with Marijn van der Velde and Laura Martinez Sanchez at the European Commission Joint Research Center (EU JRC). Our collaboration resulted in a published segmentation dataset of the Land Use and Coverage Area frame Survey (LUCAS) images. This data will help train machine learning models on natural scenes and underrepresented landscapes. Such analysis, among others, can help in validating land cover and biodiversity monitoring across the Europe.
