Over the summer a number of new features were introduced to various BlueGreen Labs packages. However, most of them did not make it to the CRAN servers yet. With the start of the academic year we made a push of all new features to give students and researchers access to the latest options directly from the CRAN servers. Some of the changes that were implemented:

- the inclusion of version 2 (V2) of the FAO HWSD database

- including new daymetr API endpoints
- moving to {terra} for raster data processing
